Vice President of Electric Distribution

Vicki Trees serves as Vice President of Electric Distribution for CoBank where she is responsible for fostering relationships and providing banking solutions to members who serve the electricity and broadband needs of their rural communities across Minnesota, Wisconsin and Kauai, Hawaii. 

Vicki has worked with electric distribution utilities for over 20 years and has a keen understanding of the evolving operational, customer and policy challenges facing the distribution cooperative in a dynamic energy environment.

Prior to joining CoBank in 2023, Vicki led regulatory policy and commercial activities for a smart grid technology provider. Additional work experience included general management of a rural cable system and leadership roles in rural telecommunications. She holds a degree in economics and international business from the University of Minnesota Duluth.

Growing up in rural Minnesota and Wisconsin, Vicki gained an affinity for numerous outdoor activities. She and her husband reside in Central Minnesota and enjoy hiking, boating and traveling. They have two adult sons who live in Casper, WY and Minneapolis, MN.
