Jon Hornung serves as the Senior Vice President of Participations for Farm Credit of Western Kansas, working in both capital market and direct lending. He has worked in various positions at Farm Credit over the past eight years. Prior to joining Farm Credit, Jon worked for the U.S. Department of Agriculture National Agricultural Statistics Service in multiple job roles across the United Stated and in Washington DC. Jon holds a bachelor’s and master’s degrees from Oklahoma State University. He was raised on a cattle and grain farm in Eastern Colorado and is still actively involved in his family farm. In his free time, Jon volunteers in his church, coaches youth sports, and enjoys fishing and exploring the outdoors.
