Jonathan Howard serves as the Loan Portfolio & Capital Markets Manager at Western AgCredit, brining over 15 years of expertise in agricultural and commercial lending across the banking industry and the Farm Credit System. He holds a Master of Business Administration from Weber State University and a Bachelor of Science in Agricultural Business from California State University, Chico.

Jonathan’s professional background includes competencies in Credit Administration, Risk Grading, Special Assets, and the buy/sell component of Capital Markets and Participations. He is enriched by hands-on agricultural production experience in the timber, dairy, and beef industries. Jonathan’s investment to professional growth is evident through active participation in educational and networking events within the Farm Credit System, which enhances his ability to deliver high value returns to Western AgCredit and its stakeholders.

Residing in Utah, Jonathan enjoys exploring the outdoors with his wife and two sons, focusing on teaching the next generation how to hunt, fish, and go off-roading. In his free time, he enjoys taking on home improvement projects, coaching his sons’ sports teams, and exploring new hobbies such as glassblowing and brewery hopping with his wife.
