Michael Smith serves as Senior Vice President of Lending for AgWest Farm Credit and is based in Pasco, Washington. In this role, Michael leads business development efforts for AgWest, supporting relationship teams and serving customers throughout the Yakima Valley and Columbia Basin regions in Washington State. Prior to this, Michael served as Senior Vice President and Vice President of Credit, leading credit underwriting and loan approval in Washington, and also spent time working in AgWest’s Capital Markets group on loan participations and syndications. Michael holds a Master of Business Administration from Arizona State University and a bachelor’s degree in finance from Eastern Washington University. Outside of work, Michael enjoys spending time with his wife and four kids.
