David Penney is the Senior Vice President of Underwriting at AgWest Farm Credit.  He has been in the Farm Credit system for 22 years and has held positions including Relationship Manager, Capital Markets Manager and Regional Underwriting Officer.  In his current role, he oversees the underwriting effort in California and Arizona and also leads the Collateral Services group.  His entire career has been focused on serving agricultural producers and rural communities and has covered both the east and west coasts.  Penney is a graduate of the University of Massachusetts with a degree in Economics and received his Master of Business Administration from Pennsylvania State University.  He is also a graduate of the Pacific Coast Banking School.  He and his wife, Cassidy, reside in Paradise Valley, Arizona.
